Concluded Courses AVG Nagpur

The courses’ primary objective is to impart the vision of Advaita Vedanta and enable the participants to continue to lead a life in keeping with this vision.

Arsha Vijnana Gurukulam is an institute where we teach Vedānta and Sanskrit and all the other allied subjects in a residential environment. Here the student lives with the teacher as an antevāsī to gain self-knowledge. Primarily we take a committed set of students for a long-term residential course of three years duration. In this course, we teach them the Prasthānatraya, the Upaniṣads, the Bhagavadgītā and the Brahmasūtras, along with the bhāṣya of Śrī Ādi Śaṅkarācārya.

For this study, the students require a good proficiency in the Sanskrit language. For that, we teach the Sanskrit language along with Pāṇinian Grammar. In addition, we also teach other allied subjects necessary for the in-depth study of the Prasthānatraya.

This course of study is very hectic and demands a complete commitment and a certain discipline on the part of the student.
